The Raging (Psalm 2)

I see the nations raging,
With plotting in conspiracy,
In blasphemy engaging,
They meditate on vanity.
They wish to loose the fetters,
And break the bonds to become free,
Yet His laws make all better,
His bonds are reason, gravity.

I see the Son arising!
Be quick to kiss His hands and feet,
And flee from your despising,
That path but leads to your defeat.
Those found in insurrection,
He laughs at them and levels them,
Yet in His resurrection,
He cleanses those who turn to Him.

Salvation and Refuge (Psalm 37:32-40)

The wicked rage and rise,
Accusing righteous men,
But wait upon the Lord;
He won’t abandon them.
For He’ll flush out the wicked man,
His faithful few He’ll give the land.

I saw a mighty man,
New normal laws he claimed.
Again, I looked – he’s gone!
I could not find his fame.
But see, the blameless will remain,
That wicked man was shamed and slain.

Salvation comes from God,
To come through times of need,
Condemning those who sin,
While giving grace for free.
Make Him your refuge in the storm,
Embrace His law, and love your Lord.

Reason (Proverbs 29:7)

Since God is slow to judge,
He bears no threat to me,
I see no consequence,
There is no law I see,
No power but what’s mine,
Except the law of might,
The power of the sword,
And winning makes it right.
I’ll let my heart be glad,
And take those things I need,
If God had loved the weak,
He wouldn’t make them sheep.
For I may wield the rod,
It will not fall on me,
I choose what I may have,
In my sagacity.
I am forever right.
How dare you question me!
The Father wont come home,
He judges not, as me.
For I have helped the poor,
Who payed their dues to me,
I only took the wealth,
Of those who were to weak.
I wont reprove my son,
I want to hep him see,
The rod would do him hurt;
Let him then be as me.
