If we have died with Him, we are alive,
If we endure, with Him also we reign,
If we deny Him, He will then deny,
If we are faithless, faithful He remains.
Remember that our savior Jesus Christ,
Through David's kingly line the lawful heir,
Has risen from the dead and reigns -- alive!
This is the Gospel which we now declare.
So by this promise know we shall endure:
Our God Himself elected us to life.
In Jesus our salvation is secure,
Eternal glory in His sacrifices.
No matter what the world may do to you,
Imprisoning, or beating, tearing down.
Through all of this the saying is still true:
The word of Jesus never can be bound.
