Attachments to Your Enemies (I Samuel 28:1-2, 29:1-11)

I recognize that all I need,
Is by You, Lord, supplied.
There is no threat that I should flee,
When You are by my side.

O let me never to Your foes,
Go for my sustenance.
Nor over my own self impose,
Laws of unrighteousness.

But give me favor in the eyes,
Of my authorities,
Yet not on their respect rely,
Nor there my loyalties.

Then grant me places to proclaim,
Your grace to those I know,
That I may bring back to Your name,
Those formerly Your foes.
