Your sins have been dismissed,
In Jesus’ holy name,
He knew your name and face,
When dying in His shame.
And knowing all your sins,
He shed His holy blood.
Particularly for you,
This sacrifice of love.
And you have known the Lord,
With knowledge, certainty,
You need no other source,
To find eternity.
And through Him you are strong,
Defeating every foe,
You conquer Satan’s schemes,
When in God’s word you go.
Stop flirting with the world.
Devote yourself to Christ.
And make then Father’s love,
The fruit of all your life.
The lust of eye and flesh,
And boastful pride of life,
Are rooted in the world,
And born apart from Christ.
The world and all its lusts,
Will shortly pass away.
The love of God endures,
Eternity to praise!
