The Father saves the ones He loves,
To call elect from every nation.
And by foreknowledge, bought with blood,
With confidence in our salvation,
Are grace and truth forever yours,
As one whom God has spoken for.
And like a river running free,
The gospel given to your children
‘Til blooming like a mighty tree,
Two thousand generations bidden,
To worship for eternal years,
The Son on earth when He appears.
And those who grew in brokenness,
As children raised without a father,
Inherit yet God’s righteousness,
And they will drink from living water.
For roses in the desert bloom,
As fair as those the gardener prunes.
