Salvation and Refuge (Psalm 37:32-40)

The wicked rage and rise,
Accusing righteous men,
But wait upon the Lord;
He won’t abandon them.
For He’ll flush out the wicked man,
His faithful few He’ll give the land.

I saw a mighty man,
New normal laws he claimed.
Again, I looked – he’s gone!
I could not find his fame.
But see, the blameless will remain,
That wicked man was shamed and slain.

Salvation comes from God,
To come through times of need,
Condemning those who sin,
While giving grace for free.
Make Him your refuge in the storm,
Embrace His law, and love your Lord.
