Let every people know it well:
There is a God in Israel!
Though hearts of mighty warriors fail,
Through weakness God's will shall prevail.
We stand assured the foe will fall,
If we obey the Father's call.
One man empowered by the Lord,
Will conquer without skill or sword.
Put not your trust in armaments,
For they will fail for your defense.
Our weapons are not made of steel,
But only God is our appeal.
Let Jesus guide our hands to war,
His victory empowers yours.
For He controls the battle's fate,
And He will see His name made great.
God answers when we call His name,
He raises up and puts to shame,
He guided us with cloud and light,
He marks the sling-stone for its flight,
He sends down fire when we pray,
Withholds the rain, prolongs the day...
And He will drag the Beast to hell:
There is a God in Israel!
